Since its inception, the Omara brand has been working to perfect every single special and emotional moment for its customers based on quality and trust.

I joined the project after its release, when the website had already been live for some time. My work has since focused on improving the user experience and adding new modules or functionality to the existing platform. Below, I’ll briefly share some highlights of these efforts.

Build the experience

→ Improving product configurator in mobile view

The previous configurator, which worked well on desktop, had several issues on mobile devices that led to user confusion.

Key Issues Identified:

  1. Small product images that made it difficult to view product details clearly.

  2. No option to switch to a 3D model view from a mobile device.

  3. Accessing the price and purchase button required extensive scrolling.

  4. Most product configuration actions were hidden in dropdown menus, which was not always necessary.

Improvements we made:

  1. Added a sticky top bar that appears while scrolling down to improve navigation.

  2. Moved the cart button with the price display to the top near the product image and made it sticky, ensuring it’s always visible for quick access to purchase.

  3. Reduced the number of dropdowns and improved the option selection process in the configurator.
